That probably means that something or SOMEONE tries to interrupt their session and hack them sorta. But why? Again, if we look at what this big ol' mosta' trying to do, we can say that it is probably doing that to kill all humans. If we go back to episode 2 where we can see that big ol' monsta' coming from J's body, i can probably say that this is not just a program that tries to repair the owner, it is some sort of virus that tries to kill everything on their way and collect the part of the owner to... For some reason. Okay, now we know what this thing does with drones but the question remains, why does it tries to delete memories of N? I would probably say that it is for the same reason, or to take N under control (pick the one that you like), and bcz im not matpat i will stop on this variation.
