New title, new engine, and new environment design

It was quite a while since the last update, and now the game uses completely new graphics engine, Dagon, which was in development since 2017. Dagon features many serious improvements compared to my old engine, DGL, including deferred rendering, HDR, better PBR, quality post-processing stack and new physics engine. At the backend, Dagon uses OpenGL 4 and SDL 2.

I have decided on the final title of the game: it is now called Electronvolt. Repository URL also changed, find the game's source code here: https://github.com/gecko0307/electronvolt

With new graphics tech, design decisions also changed. The game will take place on Mars-like planet or an asteroid, with more outdoor space to explore. Stay tuned for details on plot and gameplay. More images and videos to come soon!

I've decided to turn the Dagon vehicle demo into a game! Most likely this will be a relaxation driving game with customizable content, such as user-added cars and tracks.

Today I was setting up the location of the first boss. His name is "Father" and he is the first of the Patagonians. His task is to guard the road to the House.🛡🗡 Bookmark pre-launch page🔖🔖🔖
