Baldi 7.0 – New Update Devlog

This update introduces new random events, improves the Music Teacher, and continues expanding the game with fresh mechanics. Let’s take a look at what’s new!

Additions

🌀 New Random Events

Principal’s Break
When this event occurs, the Principal takes a break.
That means you can break school rules freely without being sent to detention.
Use this opportunity wisely—it won’t last forever!

School Storm
A storm will appear around the school, and lightning bolts will randomly strike.
Any character near a lightning strike—including the player—will be slowed down.
Watch where you’re going, because this event can quickly turn dangerous.

🎵 Music Teacher Update

The Music Teacher has received a big improvement:

• Added new voicelines

• He will now chase you when he gets angry instead of causing an instant game over
  → If he’s mad… RUN

• Successfully guessing all songs correctly now rewards +250 YTPs

Bug Fixes

• No bugs were found during this update
  (If you encounter any issues, please report them!)

Developer Notes

Updates have been a bit slower lately, but Baldi 7.0 will continue to receive updates for eternity.

I’m also considering something special for the future:
When Baldi 7.0 reaches 5 years (2027) or 10 years (2032), I may release the source code of the mod.
You’ll be free to do whatever you want with it—except for the level editor servers, which will remain private for security reasons.
