I've figured out a way to make it so BioFuse is ran as-intended. Unfortunately, this does mean that the game is ran initially minimized. This was done to force Windows 11 into running a legacy terminal. The monitor for music checks on whether or not a legacy instance exists and tends to break completely when "Windows Terminal" is ran instead. While I could attempt to write some code that checks for a windows terminal instance... I have more of a bias against Windows 11.
Weirdly enough, I only noticed this patch could work after my code started launching legacy instances for sound. I figured the method of opening those instances should work fine with BioFuse at the cost that it starts minimized. Then again, you could just disable music entirely and still run BioFuse from Windows Terminal. Just be aware that if you do activate music from Windows Terminal that it WILL crash everything.
