North Carolina has fired head coach Mack Brown. Brown led the Tar Heels to a 6-6 record this season. He will not coach in the bowl game. He began his position as their head coach in November of 2018. He said he will not think about retiring.

John Brenkus, a former host of the ESPN show “Sports Science”, passed away on May 31st at the age of 54 from suicide. Rest in peace.
