Not related to the game, just want to talk about something thats been on my mind.

The chara used to be yellow and had darker hair headcanon doesnt work, in my opinion:


Ive seen some people use this theory to connect chara with kris. I respectfully disagree with this logic

If chara was indeed yellow and had darker hair then that means chara not only looked like kris but they also looked like frisk

But the issue with this is that if frisk looked like chara then why did toriel not react to that? Why did asgore not react to that? Why did gerson not react to that?

From their pov it would be as if the first child came back to life. Chara back in the alive flesh (even tho it actually isnt). But none of them treat frisk that way. At best you have asgore mention that the hope in frisk eyes remind them of chara, but thats about it.

counterargument: but asriel thinks frisk is chara.

Not in the beginning but after a while, sure that is fair. But then asriel remembers their first meeting with chara, before the pacifist ending. And then immediately after asriel says the only similarity frisk and chara had was fashion sense and age. Besides that, frisk was:

* Frisk... * You really ARE different from Chara

* In fact, though you have similar, uh, fashion choices...

* I don't know why I ever acted like you were the same person.
