OFF HIATUS!!!


With the release of 0.3.0, I’m now off hiatus!!!

This update brings lots of fixes, changes, and balances. Lighting has been slightly changed, and lag has been greatly reduced in Hebrod.

NEW THINGS:

  • First area of Mars added, the Research Labs of Space Station Charlie!

  • Hebrod seperated into Northern and Southern to prevent lag

CHANGES:

  • Enemies balanced better, skills balanced better, more defined skill tree accessible from menu, weapons changed, status changed

  • Screen resolution changed

  • HUD more streamlined

  • Lighting changes to be slightly more realistic (as real as pixels can be)

  • Slightly better projectile physics, still can’t shoot an enemy in front of you unfortunately

  • Notes including lore and other important aspects of story other than The Now have been added to encourage exploration

  • Tried to make the characters have more character, but it’s kind of hard when you have literally no social interaction or knowledge of how humans speak

THINGS THAT I KNOW ABOUT:

  • Mars is fairly empty

  • Some enemies might crash the game if you interact with them while knocked down. Don’t ask, tried to implement a new mechanic.
