Ok, let's try another concept to fix this stability issue with the clients. Seems that using tcp sockets lead to jittering on the clients. Besides, there's too much overhead for moving all players around...

Next up

Sadly, despite our efforts we won't be able to complete the game before the given deadline. However, we decided to keep this project going to see what we can achieve given more time. This experience is teaching us a lot and we want to put it to good use.

Finally! Stability issues are gone! At least I tried playing locally with 3 players and it's working pretty fine with Amazon Gamelift! Let's tweak a little bit and implement some more features to see how this multiplayer game behave ;-)

Some progress in our current game jam! There're still some bugs but we finally got the main work with multiple game instances running on our local machine!
