For a while now, I've felt like I haven't experimented enough with my fan games—I've just been having mindless fun. And that's not a bad thing! Games like Cabin Face 3 weren't meant to explore new concepts; I made them purely for fun, and that clearly paid off, as some people have told me it's my best fan game yet.
However, I now want to step out of my comfort zone and try something completely new. I'd like to create a game that explores a concept I don't think has been properly executed in a FNAF fan game before. Whether it succeeds or fails, I want to make a game with a hopefully decent and interesting story and gameplay that sets it apart from the usual. I want to see if I can make an impact, depending on how much I choose to experiment with it.
As is often the case, nothing may come of this, but I'm going to give it a try and see what happens. For now, I'm focusing on other things and generally just relaxing. Other than TRTF: Deathmatch, no other fangame is currently in the works, so you could consider this a little break from me.
This is mostly because I'm spending my time on Half-Life 2 and some of Valve's other titles. Whenever I get back into the swing of things, I'll be sure to let you know. That's all for now, thank you for reading.
