The summer heat bears down upon us, and as does the release window of One Week at Just Freddy's!
In case you missed it, in April we showed off our gameplay trailer for OWaJF, and with it, the release window of this Summer! Here it is in case you missed it.
We we're extremely excited to show this off, and the response has been fantastic! It marked a huge stepping stone for our project and we can't be happier seeing people getting excited over the game.
The trailer also revealed our amazing voice cast of Cam Da Man and Bizabizow who have been absolute pleasures to work with for this project!
But enough about the old stuff, how's the game looking?

We recently finished off one of the most complex rooms in the game- the Prize Corner. With it's completion we've cleared a huge hurdle in the texturing department, and with the new assortment of props we will be populating other rooms with even more detail!

Hm... Those presents look a bit sinister. Could it be?

The Freddles! Tagging along with Nightmare Freddy these little critters have made their way under your desk, make sure to keep them in check with your trusty flashlight.
So, how's the game's progress?
Animation is progressing very well, we've been making huge progress with some of the most animation intensive and technically challenging of the animatronics in the past couple of the months. We just surpassed 100 total animations for the project, and I'd say we are about 75% of the way there. Luckily, of that remaining 25% are some of the easier animations as we wanted to save them for last.

Texturing, as you've seen, has also been progressing smoothly. There's only really one room with a significant amount of texturing left but luckily the technical aspects of texturing for that room have been largely completed already, so we really are past the biggest challenges in that department.
Gameplay-wise OWaJF is in a fairly good spot, we have a large majority of the code done so the main things being worked on are implementation of animations and bug fixing. The biggest thing left that has a significant amount of work to be done is the audio, which we will be working on more soon.

All that being said, we are still confident in our Summer release, though we don't have a date yet. That will be unveiled in the final trailer for One Week at Just Freddy's, so keep an eye out for that at some point this Summer.
Once again, thank you all for your support for this project, we are very excited to finally get to show off the game in all it's glory.

That's all for now! This will be likely be the final pre-release devlog, though more teasers and videos will be released here and on our socials leading up to the final trailer and eventual release, so keep an eye out.
