FNAF 4's character choice was pretty easy but also a little hard to do. After all, I could've just drawn Nightmare since he's like the ULTIMATE final boss of FNAF, or I could've just drawn my other favorite Nightmare character, Nightmare Freddy! In the end, though, Nightmare Fredbear just became the most logical choice since he's pretty iconic and was the first ever example of a "final boss" in a FNAF game (which would be a MAJOR inspiration for future FNAF games/fangames)! I MIGHT have also done it for the memes, but I'll let YOU decide that... ;)
Not gonna lie, I have a sort of love-hate relationship with FNAF 4. On one hand, it ABSOLUTELY fulfilled its job of being terrifying, to the point where I legit didn't fully complete it until years later out of sheer fear, so kudos to that! Also, while the Nightmare animatronics themselves aren't particularly scary, they ARE really awesome-looking! The rips and tears on their bodies, their super sharp teeth, their huge body shape that makes them look imposing, and just in general they're super badass! On the OTHER hand though, looking back on it, my problem with FNAF 4 mainly lied in its story. FNAF 1-3 felt perfectly contained to each other, with a really strong conclusion ESPECIALLY for FNAF 3. FNAF 4 kind of just came along and completely changed how we viewed the series, and the teasers were borderline false advertising. EVERYONE and their mom thought that we were gonna see who caused The Bite of 87', but instead we got The Bite of 83'. It's not like it seriously matters, but the fact that Scott essentially switched things up like that kinda felt like an ass-pull. And of course, who could forget The Box? The Box is still to this day unanswered and honestly? I kinda just forgot its existence entirely, it stopped feeling interesting and just became a THING that was there. ALSO also, Dream Theory. Need I say more? But despite all that, I still LIKE FNAF 4, it's only really the lore of it that I'm a bit sour about. If you liked the game, that's perfectly fine! Like what you like! I hope you all enjoyed my personal insight of the game!
