personal words of wisdom for other fnaf fangames.. now yeah, i ain't released this shit yet.. BUT i think this should be standardized, so see this as a tip of sorts, from a guy who's never released a fnaf fangame!


i think if you're gonna have your fnaf fangame use phone people as the main mechanic explinations... put some captions in! especially if there's an effect to make it sound more like it's comin' from a phone. i've played a lot of fnaf fangames in my time, and a lot of them i've been confused on what to do in because of the mechanic explinations being JUST a phone call... mainly cuz i struggle to hear people properly a LOT of the time, i'll wind up asking "what" to a person 3 times when they try to tell me something lol
i personally think if ur phone guy's gonna tell you the mechanics, even if simple, they should have captions! if it's a thing about immersion, make em toggleable! it'd make dumbasses such as myself able to comprehend what the phone guy's saying, lol
also i think pause screens should be standardized. no real reason other than it'd just be a really good qol change
