Pirate Ships on Port

Hooray! I’m finally done with background number 3. I realize it may not be as newsworthy as I make it out to be, but working on this game in between my very busy schedule, and actually finishing stuff is an accomplishment for me. Anyway, here’s the third (out of planned five) background:

It’s a town-port. I haven’t designed any pirate type gnomes yet, but maybe I will have to now. I’m just gonna have to think of new gameplay mechanics they wil introduce to the game. Thoughts?

War Room Redux After gathering some feedback about the War Room mockup I made, here’s an updated one. The background is no longer a placeholder, and I removed the “girl” character…it takes away from the scene.

Made some adjustments to the boss AI so that the fight is more strategic, less spammy. This is meant to be the first boss encounter. What do you guys think?

I thought I had move on...but Google Play warned me to update my app to support the latest Android version or else it would be taken down. Now I have new gameplay ideas so I decided to make another update. Coming to Gamejolt soon!

Player Assist work in progress. Close, long, and mid range attacks. #gamedev #godstear #madewithunity

Update 1.1.8c is out now. With this I have optimized the game to take up around 300mb of RAM. Hopefully this eliminates all those ANRs and crashes! Check it out: https://tinyurl.com/2s43rhk8

Here's to hoping 2021 will be much better than 2020. Happy New Year!

Started prototyping the Player Assist feature. With a press of a button you can summon party members that will perform their special attacks. I know it looks like Ender Lillies but my inspiration was the Marvel vs Capcom games.

Done with character swapping! Swap between the melee tank (Aether) and the long ranged mage (Myst). It's gonna be be fun designing levels that accommodate contrasting play styles. #screenshotsaturday
