Preview of next release (0.3.0)


I’m struggling hard with my toughts for this release, lets enumerate the pics from left to right and top to bottom.

Top left image

—-The first image shows a little work on a previous released feature, but now it also shows 4 buttons, which allows you to do more stuff with selected Digimon (Not so much right now).

The first button is for the stats (Strength, level, attribute, exp).

The second button will be to show the avaliable skills for your digimon (And use any heal type or special ones). Maybe not for next release

Third button will be very important in the game, i’m not sure if i will build it for next release since is something really big, it will show all the exact experience that you have, Nightmare Soldiers, Dragon Roar, Nature Spirits and all that (Kinda like “Digimon Races”), also the attribute like Vaccine, Data and Virus (Rock, Papper, Scissors), last but not least the elemental exp (Fire, Water, Holy, Dark), what is this for? mainly for evolution purposes, having 3 of those on top can guarantee a desired evolution, it will also be used for a defense bonus (Too big for now)

Lastly the fourth button, it’s just for moving your digimon (First on top left is the one that will fight)

—-The second image shows a rework too, mainly that, i just added a picture by code (Previous version wasn’t programmed as it needed), it also shows the attribute and family of the Digimon (Vaccine and Dragon Roar this time i guess)

—-My brain was tired here, i just edited the “A” and “D” for a Sword and a Shield

—-Second screen of the game (First one is tittle screen, which i forgot till i was wrtting this last paragraph), it’s the place where you select your genre (Male/Female) and your Starter, i was working on that, but i realised the game didn’t had more than just 1 vs 1, i changed a lot of stuff, now 6 vs 6 is kinda possible, it need some fixes, swipping digimon in the middle of a fight is not avaliable yet (If you defeat an enemy it can throw the next one, but just that)

Well, thats part of it, i fixed a lot of minor stuff and added plenty of minor stuff, about the release date i’m not sure, i want to release a playable part of the story, which means i need to make some maps. (Sprites too)

I just want to finish the skills .-. I tough about uploading it with Heal and Middle Tackle, but i am unhappy... Meanwhile, doing other stuff

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
