Hey guys! This is a follow-up post to my "Problems i have with the TRTF community" post.
The reason i am making this is because there are some things i neglected to mention in that last post.
The last post may have came off as harsh to TRTF fans at certain points, which is why in this post i will be looking at both sides of the argument.
In the last post, i sided more with people who make videos on TRTF, in this post, i plan to side more with the TRTF community and see where they are coming from with all this.
Before we start, i must explain how this post is constructed. It is separated into parts.
Each part talks about a video on TRTF. The videos will be rated on the amount of misinformation it contains, how much history it mentions and how good the creator is.
That said, let's get started.

1. Minaxa (screenshot 1)

- How much history does it mention?
It gives a mostly cohesive narative on how TRTF came to be. From first game to last game. It also talks about Kriya Studios and Tyler's future endevours.
-How much misinformation does it contain?
The video does have some misinformation, and the pinned comment has even more. For example:
-It says that Tyler stole code from Scott (this was impossible, given that TRTF 1 was made in The Games Factory 2 and not Clickteam)
-It says that Tyler included Kitty in FRANKBURT'S post break-up, when in reality they broke up because of the made-up "incest" controversy
-It says Chapter One was going to be an actual game and that is was going to be the size of Amnesia
-The comment left by Minaxa also has a bunch of misinformation (you can read the comment under the video)
- Is the creator of the video a good person?
I cannot verify this. He does make fun of Tyler in the video, a LOT, and that is why his video is easily the most controversial in the TRTF community. But nobody mentions that little part at the end where he discusses Kriya Studios upcomimg games and says: " Tyler may have been a weird person and an even worse developer, but at the end of the day, he was just doing what he loved, making video games." In one of the replies below the video, he even says that Tyler is probalby a better person now and that he wishes the best for him. He does not make fun of Tyler out of malice, he makes fun of his, at the time, bad game development skills and bad storytelling.
Minaxa has also made MANY documentary style videos on other fan-games, aswell as other games. All of those videos are pretty good aswell (from the ones i've watched). They are well edited and mostly well researched. TRTF is a bit more of a difficult game to research so it noticably sticks out to me with how much knowlege i have on TRTF.
However, a little bit ago, under a post talking about Minaxa's pinned comment, i saw someone say that Minaxa took a sponsorship that people critisized him for, and he responded by boasting about his wealth. I cannot verify this, i have skimmed through every single one of Minaxa's videos and i cannot find said sponsorship.
This doesn't mean it didn't happen, maybe he edited it out, maybe he deleted the video, but the point is, i can't know for sure.
Maybe i missed it, in that case, if someone knows what video this is in, please leave it in the comments.
All in all, the video paints a clear MOSTLY clear picture, i don't know if Minaxa is a good person, but the amount of misinformation the video and the pinned comment have weighs it down.
I give it a 6/10, it's decent, well edited, has a lot of misinformation but it certainly doesn't deserve to be called "slop", which it so often is.

2. Insomniac XO (screenshot 2)

-How much history does it cover?
Insomniac XO's video covers a very impresive amount of history, with very detailed descriptions of the games, their development and differences between them.
-How much misinformation does it contain?
Very little, the only things that i could see as not being True is Tyler adding Kitty to the games post break-up and him claimimg that Tyler might have faked TRTF Chapter One being a false game.
-Is the creator a good person
Insomniac XO does not strike me as a bad person. He makes quality videos on other IP's, which are well researched and edited.
He does make fun of Tyler and the games in the video, but he himself says that it is not out of malice and at 58:02 he says that "he hopes Tyler makes something so good that it makes him feel like an idiot for being so negative throughout the video" and generally wishing Tyler the best.
Overall, i give it a 9/10, it's well researched, well edited and the creator doesn't strike me as bad.

3. Lazybedhead's video (screenshot 3)

-How much history does it cover?
The video covers a large amount of the franchise's history. What it does that most other videos don't is talk about Tyler's childhood and is very empathetic with it. In the video the games are made fun of, but again it is not done with malice toward Tyler, this is discussed more at the end of the video. However, the video does fail to mention anything about Kriya Studios and anything about Tyler post-2018, which many other videos do.
-How much misinformation does it contain?
The video contains a lot of misinformation in the part that discusses volume 2 and beyond.
-Is the creator a good person?
I don't think they are bad, at least they don't appear to be. Keep in mind that this is their only video that i have watched, so i don't know.
Overall, 7/10. The video is very well edited and scripted and it's clear that a lot of work went into it. It mentions things that most other videos on TRTF don't (Tyler's upbringing), but it also neglects to mention things most other videos mention (Kriya Studios), which i have no Idea how they missed.

4. Draku's video (screenshot 4)

-How much history does it cover?
It covers some, and it covers it badly.
-How much misinformation does it contain?
A Lot. Such as:
- Claimimg that Emil gave Tyler permission to use Candy and that Tyler removed him from the game  after that.
- Showing animatronics from TRTF 5 when talking about character designs for TRTF 2.
- Claimimg that Kitty was removed from the games after the break-up.
- Almost completely forgets to mention TRTF 3.
- Doesn't even know if TRTF 5 came out.
- Claims that the fifth game uses assets from Sister Location.
- Said that not a lot of people played the fifth game (implying that the game released).
- Got the number of games wrong.
- Said that Tyler left a month after releasing TRTF 5.
- Said that Tyler and his therapist were not on good terms.
-Is the creator a good person?
I can't tell, though i wouldn't bet on it. The problem i have with him is that he very clearly makes videos with the intent of capitalizing on old drama, and generally makes very clickbaity videos. Granted, i haven't watched his other videos, but if this one is anything to go by, then those can't be good either.
Overall, 2/10. Very unscripted, riddled with misinformation and somewhat poorly edited (there is a part where he tells the viewers to "look at the characters and then he doesn't show them). He also comes across as very immature, the amount of times he says the words stupid and garbage is ridiculous. The video is very poorly researched, and the dude straight up just lies sometimes. Like how he claimed that TRTF 5 was not very enjoyable or that it took assets form Sister Location despite the game not even releasing.

So, that's about it. I have ranked a few videos about TRTF and talked about some of their flaws.
Now, i hope that i have covered both sides of the argument apropriately and that we can improve from this.
Of course, i don't think that when someone makes a poorly researched and poorly edited video for the sake of capitalizing on old drama, that we should take kindly to that. But what you have to realise is that with 3/4 of the videos mentioned above, they are generally well edited, well researched (more or less) and generally seem to be made by good people. As for the thing of them making fun of Tyler and TRTF, at the end of the videos they usually have a segment where they wish Tyler the best (even Draku's video has a part like that). They do not make fun of TRTF out of malice, it is simply a thing they do for comedic purpouses.
So, what can we do?
For starters, when a video comes out and it gets some things wrong, we can simply leave comments correcting the things the video gets wrong. A good example is @2000Studios ' comment under Lazybedhead's video (screenshots 5 and 6). We can also make information more accesible, like making sure innacurate information doesn't make it onto the wiki.
As for the unjustified hate, there really isn't much we can do about it. Everything on the internet gets hated on, and TRTF is no exception. The only real thing we can do is if the hater in question is misinformed, we can correct them.
But yeah, that's it.
