Hey guys! Today i want to talk about a theory i have about the ending of TRTF 5 and the beginning of TRTF: FRANKBURT'S.
The theory is that the beginning of TRTF: FRANKBURT'S takes place after the ending of TRTF 5.
Why do i think this is? It's because at the end of TRTF: DESOLATION (a game that depicts the final floors of TRTF 5) we are given a choice.
Carson can either let Alison open the portal, or dismember him with an axe. And at the beginning of TRTF: FRANKBURT'S, we see Alison on the ground in pieces. He tells us that he is going to tell us a story about a fool that nobody thought would ever die (himself, presumably). After the end of each night of TRTF: FRANKBURT'S, we would have most likely seen a minigame depicting Alison's childhood.
This fits well narratively, as at the beginning of TRTF 5, Alison says he Will tell us a story about a sad, lonely man (Carson). Then, at the end of TRTF 5, after being defeated, he tells us his story (which would have been depicted in the between night minigames.
In TRTF: FRANKBURT'S, there is also a night called "BEGINNING OF A NEW AGE".
Tyler has said in "A Story" (a video on YouTube) that at the beginning of TRTF 5, the person Alison is talking about is actually James Calfron (TRTF: CHAPTER ONE protagonist) and that it only shared some similarities with Gron's story. Aparrently, this was meant to set up a franchise reboot. He also talks a lot about a part of TRTF 5 talking place in "the multiversal wormhole" where there would have been four worlds:
The vortexed world (where TYCRAZMANIA takes place)
The voxeled world (where MAD MIND takes place)
The noose world (where TRTF takes place)
The four chests universe (mystery)
Tyler talks about James having to awaken from a lucid dream (the TRTF games) that he is experiencing after a shift in the noose world. It seems that TRTF 5 would have been about James waking from said dream. This also makes sense knowing that TRTF 5 was originally TRTF: REMASTERED/REBOOTED.
This shift in reality could be the machine/portal Alison makes at the end of TRTF 5. The machine can apparently "start this world anew", which could set up the reboot.
What i think is that during or after the " BEGINNING OF A NEW AGE" night in FRANKBURT'S, Alison would have revealed to us that the story he was telling at the beginning of TRTF 5 was the story of James Calfron, thus setting up the franchise reboot.
What do you guys think?
