Making some good progress in learning how to use Unreal!
Been watchin some tutorials,
fuckin around,
and I made this cool lookin dark flame shader from scratch!
(the dark flames are a really important part of Creatures of Nowhere)
I feel like I'm getting the hang of the material editor now,
but there are many other editors I must learn!
Unreal 5 is quite incredible.
There are SO MANY THINGS IN THIS DAMN ENGINE and it's so easy to get overwhelmed lol
but
I'm making progress nonetheless :)
Now I'm beginning to learn how the fuck blueprints work (the things that actually make the video game a video game)
and
it's complicated
and makes my brain melty
just like everything else :/
but I'm feelin excited about learning more!
plus!
I'm working on some more character models on the side :D
so look forward to seeing those!
Next up
Howdy! I'm still alive! and so is this game!
A Creature Reborn
Father's home.
Here's some concept sketches to show that I haven't completely forgotten about Creatures of Nowhere! (sorry for the sideways pics) it's still a long ways away, but this game is still one of my main priorities alongside Purple Cube's and Gutseeker :D
Heya! I wanted to show some gameplay progress i made so far. I hope you like it ^^
Spaaaace~
These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)

Very ambitious construction going on in Planet Zoo on Plays today. We're tryin'. LIVE: www.twitch.tv/dreamhackplays
Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa MarĂa Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
