Hey there!
We've got some very exciting news for everyone this time around -- though because of that, we're going to keep this progress report much shorter.
Quick (final) reminder that from now on, we're going to be more active on our Tumblr and Discord server when it comes to giving updates on progress reports. Unless anything miraculously changes with Twitter, we'll be treating our account there as if it's on "life support" -- still using it for major announcements, but less frequently than other platforms.

With that, let's get into today's progress report.
Brief Catch-Up!
In case you missed our July 2023 Progress Report, here are its major highlights:
Writing -- We finished the entire script for Starstruck Village, excluding sidequests.
Soundtrack -- We had 33/36 planned tracks for Starlight Isles completed, and 3/4 current Crystal Springs tracks completed.
This included the now-public remakes of "Count Koffin-K" (ExtendoFun) and "Koffin Keep" (colinator27) -- including the latter's dynamic music variants.
Progress Updates
We're very happy to report that Starlight Isles has reached functional completion -- meaning that the entire area is fully playable from start to finish!
However, this does not mean that Starlight Isles is finished! To give some more context:
"Functionally complete" refers to having an area fully playable from a technical standpoint -- meaning that players can get from the beginning to the end.
Not all assets have been implemented, nor some writing.
Functional completion does not account for any side content that is not required to fully progress throughout the area.
Out of everything that's been implemented, not all content is fully polished or playtested.
What this does mean, however, is that we're ready to begin more in-depth development of Crystal Springs in addition to what's left for Starlight Isles!

When it comes to our general progress:
Writing -- We've finished the entire major script for Starlight Isles!
All major route variations for the end-of-area script are complete.
Writing for optional character content, and the skeleton brothers' house, is complete.
Miscellaneous minor dialogue and flavor text throughout Starlight Isles is currently being written (resets, routes, side content, etc.)
Artwork -- Necessary assets for village content, polish material, and Crystal Springs preparation have been made.
Soundtrack -- We still have 33/36 planned tracks for Starlight Isles completed, with another 3/4 currently planned tracks for Crystal Springs!
Some "extras" tracks have been completed.
Programming -- As previously stated, Starlight Isles is functionally complete!
Nearly all rooms for the beginning of Crystal Springs are fully-implemented -- excluding some polish, interactions, and an encounter.
That's all for now! While there's still a ways to go until Starlight Isles is fully finished, we're really excited to have met this milestone -- and we look forward to getting further into Crystal Springs.
