Don't have screenshots for this one but I also don't want to leave you guys out of the loop.
Here's what I've implemented:
Boosting and air boosting (Mapped to the right trigger. Mania Sonic cannot boost)
Score System
Timer
The highest score, fastest time, and highest ring count get stored and are visible when selecting stages in the arcade mode.
Character unlock triggers (yes, you have to unlock characters now)
Stages unlock in the arcade mode when you beat the previous stage (so you don't have to go through the hub to unlock them, but I will eventually be putting the character unlock triggers in the hub instead of the test zone)
Settings menu has been fully revamped and now supports changing the shadow resolution, choosing proper preset qualities, and even has proper FSR options.
Remapped bouncing to B instead of X
Changed Hub Stage Gates from particle effects to Warp Rings
Here's what I intend on doing next in no particular order:
Polishing up the rail grinding (currently disabled boosting on rails and jumping due to a bug, but I think I've found the source of it)
Porting the new settings menu to the pause menu. (This one should be a copy paste job, but I still have to redesign the entire pause menu anyway so it'll take time. And I also have to address the jump bug that comes with the engine, but I think I know how to fix that already thanks to my personal projects)
Giving all characters (minus Mania Sonic) voice lines (depending on how things go I could just reuse old lines from official games or if I pick up the project more long term I'd do a casting call. It'd be volunteer work, it is a fangame after all)
Giving Silver a stamina bar to allow him to fly like in 06 (this opens the path to adding Tails, Charmy, and Rouge later on*)
Giving Mighty melee attacks (this opens the path to Knuckles, Vector, and Omega later on*)
*This does not guarantee I'll add those characters. Much more work would be needed to add them.
Here's what I'm unsure of adding due to button limitations on mobile:
Quick stepping (both buttons would have to be in the right side of the screen with the face buttons. You wouldn't be able to boost and quickstep comfortably)
Drifting (this also would have to be in the right side of the screen with the rest of the buttons, cluttering the screen. Same issues as quick stepping)
