Progress Update #2

3700 lines of code in…

Game saving/loading to/from XML is now in place and the main menu lets you scroll through saved games to select one as well as remembering your last used save so that you can choose to “Continue”. Just the “options” section left to do before finally getting on to some gameplay.

It is nice to have all this setup and the more boring aspects out of the way so that tomorrow, especially with all the planning I have done, the gameplay should progress fairly smoothly.

I’ll probably get a few more hours in tonight but don’t want to kill myself for tomorrow!

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

a drawing I did because I was bored😪. But I love how it turned out.😊

Levels' maps.

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
