Project: Discovery Island, originaly Treasure Island: The Series, have a long development of 3-4 years, that the characters are copy or inspired by FNaTI characters, that ones have a palet of colors semelhants. But some characters are from the other FNaTI games, like TLO2 Hourglass (now renamed Clepsydra), TLO2 Undying, TLO2 Pandora and Cult.

This series is not a remake or reboot, the fact is, the history of Project: D.I. is very diferrent to the Treasure Island series.

And characters like Nightmares, Ink-blots, Ilusions, The Inhuman, MickMick and Jake (FNaTI 2: OR) have a chance to appear.

Now the other characters like MOTHER probably will not appear, because of TLO2 Pandora, an alternate version of GOD, characters of 7 Days Free, will not appear because of being joke characters, and True Mickey and Corruptus will not appear because to be forgotten characters to me and its because to the duo are not mencioned on the history.
