"The start of something new"
So let's get straight to the point, what is this?
Well... I am currently working on a new game to spice things up for myself. See, recently I have been really getting into retro stuff, as seen by WD's minigames, and the fact that WD2 was going to be a fully developed in an old Game Boy style, but that is about to change, because I have got something that allows me to change things.
'Cause I am working on an original game... oh, and before you ask... "No, WD2 is not going away... entirely". Instead, I had this idea to take the original aspects from that game and use it in my original project. It's retro aesthetic and certain lore bits, so, the original new stuff. This means that my work on it is not going to ashes and my new project can profit from this, since it could give me a good base to start it.
Okay, so, WD2 will live on?
Yeah, WD2 will live on in this new game. For now, I am going to refer to it as "Project Glow", as you can imagine, this is not its original name and just a work title. Eventually it will get a better name and end up being my own copyright. I am not going to compare this game to anything I have ever made before, 'cause it is far from that. It is quite unique and different to what I have made before. 
Much like WD, this game has got its own story, but puts focus on things other than horror. This will be a more personal game, to me especially, as I will be using parts from my old life, past and youth as inspiration for this game. In this game you will my humour, my original designs and characters and my, well, everything. Original characters, music, story and concepts.
Keeping things down a little, for now.
For now, I will be taking things to myself a little and show you more of the game if I have anything to show. I do want to mention a few things, however. For this game, I will be approaching things differently, take myself out of my comfort zone and same ol' bubble. I will be sketching characters, making a top-down story-based game with different gameplay and inspiring myself by using my own life a little, to a degree of course. All to say that it will be different and fun to develop, but you will see... someday.
That was all for now. Again, if I have anything to mention, I'll make another developer log. I just wanted you guys to be aware of what I am doing right now, to keep my account flowing a little.
