Hello everyone! It's December already??
In the August update, I mentioned my game project having some technical issues, which have since been solved. There were some concepts involved that I had to let go of to fix them, but weren't important enough to keep (if I want the game to ever be released). It's now settled enough to be continuously developed.
While working through those issues I did pivot for a bit to one of the other projects I'd been working on, but ultimately returned to this one. Having 2 projects to move between has allowed me to sort of reset and have fresh perspectives on them.
At this point the game has started to have some actual environmental design, having a layout and an aesthetic being fleshed out. The game doesn't need many environments, but I'm making sure there's plenty to see and do in them.
It's been a long, but necessary process trying to get an original project released. Lots to learn.
So... maybe I'll have something to properly showcase not too far into this upcoming year? We'll have to see!
