So as you can tell from the title, we have opened Team Applications!
At this moment, we are currently looking for:
Overworld Character Sprite Artists
We are looking for people to help us sprite characters for NPCs, Party Members, and more that are in the Overworld!
Your work would need to include:
Producing overworld directional sprites
Producing NPC sprites, both playable and not
Special animations for certain scenes
Possibly getting involved in the design process of new characters!
Environmental Sprite Artists
We are also looking for team members to help assist with tilesets, backgrounds, buildings, and more that fall under that category!
Your work would include the following:
Producing tilesets for several different areas
Expanding tilesets (if needed)
You may be asked to create entirely new backgrounds for areas, that don't actually use tilesets, for example: Toriel's classroom, which is mostly (if not all) a background.
(The light in the school is just a orangeish overlay with transparent cut-outs on top of the entire screen, that's nothing to worry about unless you'd like to help with that as well.)
Creating prop sprites (such as the Lancer Cookie stand in DELTARUNE Chapter 1, or the buildings in Castle Town)
If you would like to, you may get into the design process for new areas within the game!
Battle Sprite Artists
As a Battle Sprite Artist, your job will be to:
Create posed sprites for enemies and party members
Produce unique attack animations for the party members & bosses
If we need you to, you will be asked to design attack sprites.
If you'd like, you may ask to design entirely new fights, in the form of Super-Secret Bosses!
Character Portrait Artists
As a Portrait Artist, your job would be to design portraits for every major character in the game.
Overworld Composers
For this position, you will be asked to create entirely new area themes to be used in the Overworld. Currently we have no themes to show as an example, but think of those good Deltaswap takes. For example:
These themes, by Moonster
This would be an example of a character theme.
This one would be an example of an area theme.
If you can do those, we'd love to have you on the team!
Battle Composers
As battle composers, your job would be to create a fitting theme for battles in early, middle, and late Chapters.
A theme for Chapters 1-3, something like this
A theme for Chapters 4-5
A theme for Chapter 6
And finally, a theme for Chapter 7
You would also have to make themes for boss battles.
An example would be VS. KRIS by Sushiboi.
Maybe not as hardcore for most bosses, but for certain bosses we would be going for that approach.
Concept Artists
Basically, concept artists will be the ones to design rough sketches of several characters, Dark World forms, and character redesigns.
Promotional Artists
As a promotional artist, you would create promotional art for:
Update Posts
Chapter Releases
Thumbnails & Banners
Voice Actors
As a VA, you would mainly voice certain bosses (something like Jevil or Spamton), or if you'd like, you may voice the credits theme of Chapters that require it!
