Quality and depression

I wasn’t able to concentrate and work on the game yesterday. But I spent some time having a look at some of the other contestant’s games. It’s amazing how advanced they are after just 2, 3 or 4 days. My hat’s off to all of you!

It also makes me doubt if my own game is even allowed to compete with such high quality. There are complex 3D, physics-driven games in the making, and I come up with something so simple?

Today I decided to not compete with others, but with myself. It doesn’t matter if my game doesn’t match the quality, visually or gameplay-wise, as long as I can finish it to a point where it’s at least playable. I’ll take it as a chance to learn how to deal with narrow time frames and producing the best compromise between quality and time based restrictions.

If these experiences keep coming, I’ll definitively join more of those contests from now on.

Just as Pecaminosa's musicians #improvise this rendition of #LittleSunflower 🌻, so do we improvise with this post you're reading. 😂

What's coming out of your own improvs? 🤔

#Pecaminosa | #IndieDev | #OST | #Jazz

Did you know that today is #InternationalJazzDay? 🎷😎

No? 😯 Well, we couldn't pass up this date!

And what better to celebrate this day than #Pecaminosa #OST? 🎷

Let us know what you think about it and have a great weekend!

Fan art for Foolish I'm feeling kinda better so I drew this

I was bored, so... ManutKat.

"Our work is never over" they said.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

My D&D art for my family so far (WIP if you couldn't tell)

Levels' maps.

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.
