Nvidia is a pretty shitty company. A few years back AMD started winning at rasterized lighting performance, and rasterization was used for many games back around 2016. Because Nvidia was no longer winning, instead of focusing on improving their technology they decided to go into ray tracing and since then so many games look horrible. Everything is way too smooth because of frame gen and anti aliasing and a whole bunch of other smoothing techniques, making a bunch of games with amazing lighting but too many visual artifacts and pictures that aren't clear enough, too smoothed. On top of this Nvidia sponsored games are made to purposefully look bad without rtx by not adding certain effects that they totally could add

We've published games like Night in the Woods, Tunic, Chicory: A Colorful Tale, & I Was a Teenage Exocolonist. Now we're developing Usual June in-house and we think you'll love it as much as the other projects we've worked on!
