So, after about two weeks, I finally have something to show you guys as to the new style of SMCQ. I’m not going to talk forever. So… here:
I hope you like it. That took longer than I thought it would.
Also, I’ve been contemplating some massive changes to the gameplay to make it quicker and more fluid.
Changes may include: more heroes, gameplay more megaman/metroid-like, map-based level progression, slightly different story direction, character skill upgrades.
I’ll let you know in the weeks to come.
Also, some news: I will be moving to Canada to work exclusively on SMCQ. There are several reasons for this.
One: My fiancee lives there.
Two: There is a larger indie developer community there.
Three: There are several conventions in the area of my move, which is a good chance to get noticed by publishers and/or other indie developers.
I’m super nervous and anxious, but also very excited to be doing this!
