I am mostly using this small update to do tiny rebalancing of The "Shadow", but to also get this out to everyone, even outside of Cube's Dark Hours Reopened:
I wanted to take a moment to talk about Night 6, not just from a gameplay standpoint, but from a community one.
First off: congrats to everyone who’s completed the game, especially those who took down Night 6 in its original, brutal form before the v1.0.1 update (and before v1.0.1a). You tackled The "Shadow" in his most unrelenting state, and I saw the frustration, perseverance, and eventual victory from more than a few of you. Whether you posted your win or stayed quiet, that victory is yours forever.

To those of you currently facing Night 6:
I know how overwhelming it can feel. The "Shadow" isn’t just a tough opponent, he rewrites the rules. Night 6 is designed to be chaotic, unpredictable, and psychological. It’s a trial that asks you not just to react, but to adapt. It may feel unfair at first, but every death teaches something. Every reset is a step forward.
And here's the truth: even players known for dominating max modes can feel the pressure at times. Even pros get overwhelmed. And that’s not a flaw, that’s what made their eventual success so impactful. This night is meant to test you, not to break you. If you're frustrated, that's normal. If you're stuck, you're not alone.
The recent patch was never about making Night 6 “easy”, it was about slightly easing the tightest windows so more players could engage with the design, not bounce off it. The spirit of the challenge remains. The fear, the tension, the stakes, are all still intact.
So wherever you are on your journey, know this:
You're doing great.
Your effort is valid.
Your progress matters.
And your victory, when it comes, will be yours alone.
Whether you beat Night 6 today, next week, or however long, thank you for playing. Thank you for giving this game your time and energy. Thank you for making this community what it is.
