Repainted in Devlog, finally!

Game status, lore and... trailer?

Here we are back again with another fun devlog!

There are still some small issues with the main gameplay that I'll be fixing later on, the nights feel very balanced and the whole experience itself feels polished and fun, even when playing the first couple of shifts!

With this game, my main focus was bringing back that creepy factor that was in FNaF 1 (which is my favorite FNaF in terms of gameplay and scares), which consisted in trying its best to make the player feel unsafe with unique sounds and ambiance. I can definitely say you'll be gladly surprised if you like FNaF 1 as much as I do! :D

Now that the main gameplay section of the game is finished, I had to finally add the lore part. I've been working on it for a whole month and it came out really really nice!

While I'm not really someone who's absurdly skilled at programming these kind of games (and with Clickteam it can be the most difficult experience ever, dare I say), I enjoyed learning something that isn't really tied to Five Nights at Freddy's for once. That's kinda my future and I'm looking forward to it!

The lore sections are pretty much needed to make the players actually care for the game. It has no convoluted story at all, there's no need for a lot of secrets to be added just to not being explained at all at the end. I wanted to add a familiar yet fresh story to keep you all on your toes while playing! :D

Yeahhh trailer talk!

During development, even earlier on, I always thought about making a trailer. Thing is, this reminded me of the Five Nights at Coso 3 trailer, which was very rushed (the game didn't even had 2 nights at the time of making it) and while still getting lots of positive feedback, I wasn't satisfied at all.

In other words, the trailer will be made when the whole game is finished and I'll have a proper release date. So please be patient and watch me cook for y'all! ;D

Everything new has been said, the game currently sits at a 70% of its development journey in the course of a year and 3 months.

See you all next time, and thank you for following the game and for giving me charged stickers, it really helps motivating me! :)

There's still a lot to make, but I'm very eager to release this game this year or in early 2025. So, I will try my best to work on it as much as possible!

Kinda sick rn, so I took a day off to work on this game basically all day.
