Hello everyone! my name is dinoboy16 and this is my first post.

now if your a resident evil fan like me, and you have theories about the RE Village, you probably want to tell people about them. and that's what I'm doing, telling you all my theories for Resident Evil 8: Village. but before you post a comment, just know that these are MY THEORIES and they are based on the information that I know and what I believe so please don't be rude.

okay, now that the introduction has been made, here are my theories for Resident Evil Village.

1. Ethan will kill Chris: now it may seem pretty far fetched but hear me out. this was my first theory when RE Village was announced, basically I think Ethan is going to kill Chris near the end of the game as some kind of boss fight, I told this theory to a youtuber (who I cant remember the name of) that made a theory video about Chris's death in RE8 as well as the final scene of the game being Chris Redfield's funeral, he replied to me by saying that it really poetic if Capcom made Chris the final boss of the game but he feels like he will be a boss fight BEFORE the final boss. not only that, but Ethan could die in the middle part of the fight but comes back using the mold, because we know Ethan was infected with the mold during some point in RE7, which explains the hallucinations caused by Eveline in the game and how the baker family is able to come back after being killed multiple times and using the mold to make them stronger, this could help Ethan fight Chris if he had a sample of a past virus (most likely the one Albert Wesker had) to make him stronger and fight Ethan, this could also help Ethan take on the final boss of the game( which I'll come back to later). and that's the 1st theory, now for the next ones.

2. the flying creature at Castle Dimitrescu is a Dragon like creature: if you've seen a picture of the game's map, you'll see a flying creature next to the Castle area which many people think are the winged enemies from one of the trailers. but I think this could be some kind of Dragon like creature which could be the boss of that area because if you look closely at the creature, you can see something that looks like a classic western Dragon such as a long neck, 2 long horns, and a reptilian snout.

3. the old lady will chase us later: if you remember from the leaks by Dusk Golem from before the RE8 reveal trailer, you'll remember he said something about a Witch that was going to chase us throughout the game. maybe the old lady that we have seen is going to chase us later on in the game and that she will be a boss fight at some point.

4. the Heisenberg Factory will have robotic enemies: a youtuber by the name of Where's Berry has made a video about the 4 houses and what we could expect from them. one of the things he said in the video was that Heisenberg's factory might contain Robotic Enemies, Bomb's, or Mechanical Traps. its also possible that it will have both.

5. the Lab Area: everyone knows that all of the Resident Evil games have a Lab Area in them, and the map that we see in the collector's edition of the game only shows the top part of the game's map while we don't know what lurks beneath it. its also possible that this Lab is the very first Umbrella Lab ever created and the cause of what's going on in the Village.

6. Mother Miranda is not the main villian: I believe that Mother Miranda might not actually be the main villian of the game. the reason I believe this is because a Mother is also another name for a female priest/priestess. if you remember from the leaks from before the RE8 reveal, they mentioned the games main villian was named Alan.R who is said to be either the leader or a high ranking member of the Connections and could be responsible for the village chaos, as well as being the leader of the cult that exists, he could also be the voice we hear at the end of trailer 4 were it says "Ethan winters, welcome". however, Alan could also not be the main villian but lady D's husband since the leaks also refer to him as being a Count(Count Dracula maybe?)and lives in a castle. especially since Lady D's daughters would have to have some kind of father in order for them to be born. he could also be the corpse we see Ethan pull a Blade out from.

7. the Hidden Enemy: this is just my thought but I keep feeling like RE8 will have some kind of character or enemy that they didn't show in any teasers or trailers(ink Bendy or Nemesis/Jack Baker like), especially since a lot of games and movies like to hide certain things from teasers and trailers until the full release. this hidden character could be Alan welcoming Ethan somewhere in the game. I feel like the hidden enemy could be a scientist who is responsible for what is happening in the village and the supernatural things going around it. the scientist might have accidentally infected himself with what he was creating and turned into some kind of monster(William Birkin like). plus, the white and black humanoid on the village map(next to the village area) could be this hidden enemy or were Ethan starts in the game.

   so those are all my theories and thoughts RE8 before it comes out on May 7th next week which I'm very excited for and I'm sure you guys are as well. I would very much appreciate it if you guys could share these with others and give me your ideas too. but remember, these are MY THEORIES AND THOUGHTS based on the information that I know of right now so please don't be rude in the comments and don't give me any spoilers for the game. and if you do share my theories, please make sure you credit me for them since I came up with them.
