So, around a week ago, my computer decided that it had enough of working and basically slowed down to such a crawl that I can’t even navigate the control panel anymore. It’s probably due to a virus of some sort, but I can’t figure that out for sure anymore because AVG decided that it had enough of working and just refuses to open at all, now. This wasn’t totally unexpected considering I’ve had this computer for upwards of half a decade now, but that doesn’t make this any less irritating and problematic.
Long story short, I need a new computer. Also, I’m not going to be getting a cheap one, so saving for it might take a little while. The hard drive isn’t dead, so all of the game’s data is safe, but I can’t work on it, or anything else, until I get a new machine. Luckily, I have a job that pays me weekly right now, so it shouldn’t take too long to get the money together. From my calculations, I should be able to have a new computer before the construction is done. Until then, though, I’m restricted to my phone, my Chromebook and my Playstation 4 for all internet-based interaction with people.
Either way, I just feel like this is something that I need to make known because I’m not going to be making any progress on the game for the next few weeks/months, and this time it’s because I literally can’t work on it, not just because I’m a lazy prick who likes to procrastinate. Anyways, I’ll let any future concerns be known as soon as they come up. Just know that right now, I can’t make any major progress on the game due to technological restraints.
