Rogues Like Us || Kickstarter and Greenlight Has Launched!

Hey All,

For that past 8 months, we have been working extremely hard on our game, Rogues Like Us, a 3D Hack n’ Slash Roguelike. It’s gone through a lot of iterations and reworks and we’ve learned an incredible amount along the way. We’ve become an amazing team of friends and we want to continue working with each other.

Over the past month, we’ve decided to take our game from class project to fully released game. We’ve started a game company (oddByte LLC), and prepared ourselves for the long road ahead. We want to dedicate all the time we can to the completion of this game, but to do so we need funds so we can live and eat without having to take other jobs.

I’m excited to announce that we have just launched our Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight campaigns for the game. Please back us and vote for us, and help us make our dream a reality! Anything at all helps, and if you like what you see, share it around with others. We have a really solid alpha version, and with your help we can finish over the next few months and release this Fall.

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

Shadow The Hedgehog X pixel art

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Just a Pico sprite

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

A Shiny Mega Gengar 🌟 For @ManutkArt 's #ThreeColorsChallenge!

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.
