As we begin this new year, we must also share some difficult news regarding the development of Clouded Judgment.
The Technical Incident: Recently, our lead developer suffered a catastrophic hardware failure—his workstation was destroyed by a power surge/burnout. We have spent the last few weeks exhausting every possible resource to recover the project files from the primary hard drive, but it has been confirmed as permanently damaged.


In a final attempt to save our progress, we tried to reconstruct the project by "ripping" and reverse-engineering a previous build. However, this resulted in massive corruption within the Unity libraries and dependencies, making the current version highly unstable and riddled with critical bugs.

The Decision : After a deep evaluation with the team, the conclusion is clear: the only way to fix the game is to rebuild it from scratch. Starting over after two years of work would require an amount of time and resources that, unfortunately, we no longer have. Therefore, we have decided to take a necessary and indefinite hiatus.
Regarding the Demo : While we have a "ripped" version that is technically playable, it contains severe bugs—most notably, the save/load system fails completely upon player death. We believe it wouldn't be fair to you to release a broken experience that doesn't represent our vision. Thus, we will not be releasing any public builds at this time.
This project has been a journey of passion and learning
