So the way zombies work is that when your alive if you get bit by a zombie you don’t turn into one instead when you die you get reborn as a zombie in the same body but you can’t remember anything from when you was alive however is there is a slim chance of someone remembering they’re life before they died

Zombies are somewhat immortal and immune to stuff like illnesses for example flu’s and more deadly diseases or viruses, you can’t age physically either

However if one of your family members was bit but had offspring then that family would become zombies when they die and there’s no way of stopping it

It’s why Roxie and chi chi are zombies because one of there ancestors was bit

you can stop yourself from becoming a zombie by either amputation if it’s early or getting medically treated in it’s early stages

Another fact is that how you died is physically represented on a zombie like if you died from being stabbed you would have holes or slits on your body, If you drowned you would constantly be drooling or producing some sort of water, The same thing goes if you was burned alive for example Roxie has stitches on her face, chest and around her neck from when she fell to her death

But if it’s unfortunately by suicide that would also be represented by how it happened

It is possible to kill a zombie but if they are near any sort of food then they can regenerate organs and limbs
