Well… here we are. Cube’s Dark Hours 4 has reached its final form. v1.1 is live (currently sitting at v1.1.1a as of 9th September 2025), polished (I hope), and everything it was meant to be. After countless ideas, rewrites, experiments, and popping my back more times than I’d like to admit, this chapter of the CDH series closes. What you hold now is the full, finished version. Well… I can’t promise anything forever, as small updates are doomed to happen every now and again, but for now, it’s safe to say CDH4 won’t be getting any major updates.
I can’t thank you all enough. For reading my ramblings, testing the strange corners of this world, laughing at the oddities, and feeling… whatever it was you felt. These dark hours may have passed, but their echoes will linger. I hope you take something with you from this game, even if it’s just a fleeting smile or a tinge of sadness for Cube. Thank you for the patience, the support, the curiosity, the simple act of showing up. All of that, One Smile at a Time.
This is also a little announcement. I’m taking a break. Burnout is real, and I need some space to breathe, explore ideas, and let things grow. I’ll still be around, quietly watching from the shadows, even doing streams and content a bit more frequently.
And hey, maybe I'll even share a few of my favorite moments from making Cube’s Dark Hours 4!
