Like Forest Story, SAVE OUR SOULS was conceived of independently of Poody's Othertales project. However, the fantastic interconnectedness of many Undertale projects, especially the Otherground-type games, has led me to decide that SOS should be included under the Othertales umbrella, as it was always intended to be an "otherground" of sorts, taking place in a brand new location with brand new monsters, from the very beginning, and I have also worked closely with Poody for quite a while now! Heck, the name is even a small reference to the scrapped "Seas of Sorrow" Demolitale game that was the precursor to UT: The Otherground, and we've been planning to integrate one of UTTO's scrapped areas into SOS for a while now!
