SAVE OUR SOULS: An UNDERTALE Story

IMPORTANT NOTE: This project is still in its infant stages. We have no coders as of yet, though I personally plan to try to learn the basics. This game is not yet playable in any form and we are on the lookout for people who love Undertale and are willing to help. A sprite comic inspired by Inverted Fate is currently planned in the mean time as finding coders can be unreliable.

You're the first to arrive alive from the storm. Meet all-new friends (or foes) in a new location above ground!

Paleo Island may just be the last monster refuge above ground, as many fled here after the war undetected, and are now protected by a powerful storm. However, despite its warm and inviting tropical atmosphere, it is far from a paradise. The monsters that call it home find themselves divided, and just as trapped by the very same storm that safeguards them. With everyone's one chance at freedom finally arriving on the shores, a human named Roll, bitter rivalries threaten to break out into all-out war once again.

Will you stop it through peaceful talks and friendship? Or through merciless violence?

In this game, you control the first human to ever arrive at an island full of monsters, divided by conflict. ACT or FIGHT to stay alive as you meet or beat an all-new cast! Keep on your toes in a modified battle system! Explore the island and find weird stuff! Perhaps even bring a friend with you so your journey doesn't get lonely? A new adventure in a familiar universe awaits!

BATTLE: Combat consists of an offensive and defensive turn just like in Undertale. However, the defensive turn has been modified. You now control both your SOUL and your body. Move around the battlefield in a platforming segment, where the color of your SOUL changes the environment around you! When bullets get too close for comfort, hold X to move your SOUL out of harm's way.

EXPLORE: Secrets are hidden around the island! You can find everything in one run... if you know where to look. No randomized events, no restarting 100 times to find some gray door. Nothing handed to you. Plenty of reason to look around, admire the scenery. Nothing quite like exploring a magical island!

MAKE FRIENDS: Not only can you make friends with your enemies during battle, but you can also bring a friend with you to help you in battle! Calling on your friend to help can give you a boost in battle or open up new ACTs!
