Score More with GDS! Minor Update to v1.1


Hi Folks,

GDS updated with tweaks for you to score more!

Though this isn’t the huge update like I planned orginally, scoring tweaks have been added for v1.1.

TL;DR version - the scale is tipped in your favor to amass more points!

  1. Earning an achievement level nets you 5,000 points in the Shop.

  2. (Game Over -> Continue From Checkpoint) no longer resets your current game’s points to the checkpoint save value. Your points continue right from when you crashed.

  3. Starter Kit - A fresh game (i.e.: hitting the “Reset Data” button) nixes the data like before, but now also nets you a startup bonus of 50,000 pts in the shop. A fresh game should now let you tune your startup build to be combo-focused, distance-centric, or any balance inbetween.

  4. Added “Skip This Tutorial Crap, Imma Pro Ya Know” button on the Tutorial display screens. (Thanks to TheCraftedEpisodes).
