The Secret of the Mimic is the friends we made along the way... anyway.
Hands down, best game of the franchise yet, and I hope that I dont regret saying this later on.
This is the first FNaF game EVER to made me stay late at night to finish it, and I don't regret losing sleep because of it.
Steel Wool has improved a WHOLE lot ever since Security Breach, and it shows, back a few months ago, I thought this game was gonna flop like Security Breach, but I was dead wrong.
Since I played it at launch, Ive experienced quite a bit of glitches, bugs, and crashes, not all games release perfectly at launch (although that doesnt mean you shouldnt atleast try), but that didn't stop me from continuing this game.
Some issues that I had is that sometimes, the obstacles are either hard to go thru without getting detected... cough cough, Tickets Please part... and sometimes the AI would become smart and yet dumb at the same time, however, is still better than what Security Breach had.
Another part of the game that really frustuated me was at the part at Murray's Main House where you gotta collect the tapes and guess the code to figure out what the code is, that one made me pretty angry, and it could be improved (unless I missed smth).
Although, sadly, the game (at least for me) has been more frustuating rather than fun, yes, I did have some fun, but like 70% of the game I was either somewhat bothered to frustuation, its either that the AI is too smart, the game not really telling you much on what to do, some chase scenes pull the move where you gotta turn right or left too late, causing you to get jumpscared, etc.
Conclusion, the best game that came out of this franchise, in some aspects it couldve been improved, but, overall, the game was peak.
Rating : 9.2/10, a big step up for Steel Wool and FNaF.
