A struggle I had is that this "edible drawing" box is intended to be bought for and used by children, and since I'm an adult, my fingers were too big for using this paint. Also don't mind the choice of colors, the set had provided me with only 3 colors: chocolate, pistachio green, and pink, and color mixing wasn't quite an option here, to be honest.
For the drawing I used my fingers, the backtip of a paintbrush, because it is thinner than my fingers and has made drawing outlines somewhat easier, and a spare knife's blade for more line-drawing precision. I didn't have anything for making a "step back" move in case if I painted smth incorrect, so basically I had only one attempt at this drawing.
On a 2nd image you can see an actual "front" of the canvas, saying "Happy New Year!" in the top left corner. As well I used it for paint tests.
And last but not least, the character I drew is Ennie, owned by @en-en ![]()
. The box was gifted to me on Christmas, but only recently I had really found a motivation along with spare weekend to finally draw with edible paint on an edible canvas. Plus, I drew it right before an Ennie day, so I might as well count it as my original gift to both him and @en-en

on this day.
