I've been working on Tails for a bit now. Finished the jump scare Tuesday I think. Today in particular was fuckin awful. Every time I tried to get the west hall running anim to work it would just flash between the costumes of the empty hallway and Mario peeking through the curtains. I vaguely remember at some point just sobbing "ive done everything right why the fuck doesn't it work" and tbh that feels like a pretty good sum up of scratch coding at its worst.
