I honestly was surprised by the positive reaction the first trailer got! I'm glad people liked what they saw!
As I've said before, Long Hours has had a really weird development so far, but being part of that event really got the game somewhere farther in development than I thought. I was really dedicated.
There's still a long way to go until the game is finished, but it is making progress slowly but surely. It shouldn't be too much longer until a really big milestone is hit though, so that's great news!
There's been only few changes that have already taken place after the trailer's footage has been recorded, such as the map shrinking just a little bit and the number of cameras going from 24 down to 15 (as seen in the image). I was putting way too many unnecessary camera views in the game that didn't serve much of a use. Nothing of value was lost, don't worry.
As for the release, it's obviously coming out next year. I wanted it to be this year, but things have been so slow and all over the place for me for a long time now, which brings me to my next thing...
I'm going to be finally actually for real legit taking a break from working on this game for a while.
As much as that sounds like an unfortunate thing, especially after a really exciting trailer, I do seriously need to give myself some time off. I need to start getting back into a better schedule and also take the time to do other things I enjoy doing. It'll make me feel really good about coming back to working on it later on!
There's still so much more to the game I can't wait to share with you later on in the future!
