Silly Star Wars Spotlight: The Software Toolworks Star Wars Chess

Back in 1993, Software Toolworks released a Star Wars chess game! Don't let the epic cover art fool you, some parts of it ended up being deeply silly.

For example, you might be wondering, "How can C-3PO defeat Boba Fett?" Well, he takes Fett's blaster and lectures the bounty hunter about how dangerous they can be.

Threepio isn't the only droid stealing people's weapons though, as R2-D2 steals Vader's lightsaber and strikes him down with it.

Some of the animations are less goofy (as you'd expect, Han and Leia are more apt to just blast someone) but the droids really bring an important silliness to the game.

I really enjoyed the #DeadPetsDemo!

I honestly really enjoyed following along with the story and found it very relatable. They did a great job of capturing the vibe of being an artsy person in your 30s.

My favorite character creator was PROBABLY in Spore just because it was so flexible. #GJAsks

The #CozyCaravanTrailer looks so cute! I love the stop motion style and wholesome vibes.

Yay! I mastered the #GXNailArt community pack!

Here’s my Cal Kestis from Jedi Survivor! I've had a lot of fun with the game so far. It builds on Fallen Order in some really fun ways.

Here are some of my favorite racing games! #GJAsks

(I'm excited for Star Wars: Galactic Racer too)

I added Cozy Caravan to my Steam wishlist! #CozyCaravanWishlist

A bit late for May the 4th , but here's a model of R2D2 I made in #Blender for the revenge of the 5th!

Picking my favorite #DeadPetsMinigame is hard, but if I were to narrow it down to two it would be working at the diner and performing songs.

(The diner is basically Burger Time!)
