Okay so Clothing rules are: Look Happy
this means that he's not allowed to wear Black, Red & Blue for example! which as you may know are his main colors. Yellow is too but since it's a happy color he's still allowed to wear it and does so a lot too.
Other colors that are more questional if or if he's not allowed to wear are Pink and Purple, with Pink it makes sense as it's most known as a girls color and Lust wears it a lot too, but purple is a bit more tricky as it is known as a girls color but Epic and Night wear it, so I think I will allow Error to wear purple still lul
Also it might be hard to see but on the reference you can see him wear some black with skulls, these clothes are kind of from a group he meet because he help them or they help him (most likely they help him), they your classic group of emo goth outcast type of thing (look I haven't worked on them a bunch yet). They befriended Error in a way and gave him these new clothes, why or how Idk yet this whole AU was a dream after all.
