Snapzone – Prologue
Long ago, the galaxy was free from great evil. There was no tyranny, no rule of an iron fist. Democracy? Yes. Democracy governed most worlds that had at least one government. Nexus was free. An independent city-state that answered to no one. Freedom, equality, stability.
No one had a problem with that. No one schemed in the shadows, no one planned an uprising… or so it seemed. Because there is always someone who wants to change everything.
On the planet Phobius, suspicious activities began. Their new "president," Deimos, was up to something that many didn’t like, but no one had proof. Underground factories, forbidden technologies, secret laboratories... Everything was moving in a direction no one expected.
And then, hell arrived.
Deimos wasn’t building the future—he was building an army. A "mechanical" army. Most of his soldiers were robots—cold, soulless machines. Humans? They were merely commanders, pawns used to control this war machine. And when he decided the time was right, he struck.
His first target? Nexus.
The rest of the galaxy didn’t fall so easily—its people fought back, resisted, refused to be crushed. But Nexus? Nexus didn’t stand a chance. No one was prepared for what was coming. No one saw it coming from a force that had been nothing more than a distant whisper for years.
When the dust settled, Nexus was no longer free.
It became the capital of a new order.
Thus, the Galactic Union was born—a brutal force that consumed one world after another, creating its own "parties," its own governments, its own laws. Anyone who resisted disappeared. Anyone who fought back was eliminated.
But someone has to put an end to this.
I promise you.
It will be me.
