SNAPZONE, an RPG that's a platformer???
Yeah, that's possible. And it's here!... No it's not, you have to wait a bit for it to come out :)
Stanford, have i ever told you... The definition of insanity? It's when you do the same thing over... and over again, expecting a diffrent outcome.

So as i said, SNAPZONE is a RPG that's also a platformer. Yeah i'm not joking. Here's everything you should know about the game!
SNAPZONE went trough a full reimagination of the concept. I thought the old one was boring so... Here it is! Something more unique than just another platformer.
Here's the whole concept of the game:
SNAPZONE is a 2D pixel RPG x platformer game. Where every choice, can change the perspective of the universe. The future of it is in your hands...
You play as Stanford Keos, a typical 16 year old teen who accidently discovers an ancient device which is strictly forbidden, the snap ring. Out of curiosity he throws it and... He wakes up in the „Purple Autumn”. A forest located inside the Plasma zone of the outerverse. This is where your adventure begins. The player will make many important choices, as the game is designed to feature multiple paths and endings. The game blends platforming and RPG elements. The overworld features parkour, dialogue, and interactions with NPCs. The combat system, however, is an entirely separate experience.
Battles have semi-turns, they are time limited (for ex. 10 seconds to react: attack, check, item, spare, escape) and they only appear sometimes. For ex. Enemy can send many attacks and the turn wont end yet. When attacking, the enemy will send attacks too (bullets, obstacles etc.). To attack the enemy you need to get close to it and then attack. After attacking you get pushed back. (attack sequence doesnt have to end here) Enemy attacks and the overall battle system is inspired by Undertale/Deltarune so those who played theese games will be pretty familiar with it.
Everything that you just read doesn't need to be final. Expect that major/minor changes can appear anytime soon but they don't have to.
There will also be some secret mechanics that player will have to discover... Themselfs...

A long, long time ago, the monster race ruled the entire universe.
But then, humans appeared...
They had no intention of coexisting with monsters due to countless differences between the two races. Eventually, humans banished the monsters from the Innerverse, creating a powerful barrier designed to trap them within the Outerverse. The god of this universe, known as the Starshaper, was deeply disappointed. In silence, he abandoned both humanity and monsterkind, disappearing without a trace. To survive, the monsters built the Kernel — a massive structure that allowed them to channel their elemental powers despite the barrier’s interference. The barrier itself has a strong magnetic field that prevents the use of magic, so the Kernel was essential for sustaining life and power in the Outerverse. Since then, the Outerverse has thrived... But every monster longs for revenge. And one being wants it now.
Not just revenge — power.
His name is Keyhole, the God of Chaos.
