so ive been doin everything on my laptop, which ill admit, this laptop has gotten worse, and sometimes very un-reliable, ill be saving everything important in google drive so if my laptop is completely done, ill not be loosing anything
so what just happened is that while i was making pretty good progress on the map for this game, my laptop crashed entirely, and lost all that progress, yet i recovered the map, and all those newer changes were lost.
things that have happened fairly recently (and theres still more things that havent been listed)
my laptop has started crashing every now and then, so far 3 times in the span of 2 days (and maybe more later on) and my laptop being generally slower and slower
most of the screen (except part of the top) going fully blank (usually dark blue, because i have that as my default color for windows, so this probably is the computer itself, not the screen, because the failing part of the screen is still technically on)
everything in my wallpaper/desktop reverting to how it was months ago, including the wallpaper it was set to, and NOTHING being saved, and having to re-log into EVERY account every time i start up the laptop, (this happened about 3 or 4 times, it was fixed by defragging the laptop, BUT the most recent time i had to do a full reset on my laptop)
my laptop takes roughly 8 minutes to start up, that is not good at all
sometimes everything on my laptop will freeze, rarely, even the audio, mouse cursor, and the friggin taskbar
as you may tell, im slightly frustrated but also trying to remain calm because this laptop is STILL much faster, better, and more reliable than my old one, which hardly even works (and is lost, idk where that one went)
and so i learned my lesson, take proper care of your freakin computer, it could mess up any day if something goes wrong or wasnt taken care of.
next ill be smarter and get a tower and not an over-priced laptop from best buy (for those of you who are curious, i own an Acer Nitro 5, which isnt terrible, but isnt that good either)
So bad news, progress may be mostly halted entirely until I get a better PC, so I don't risk loosing progress from these frequent crashes. (there's a ton more details and a somewhat of a rant about my laptop in the article)
