I mean, there's not that much proof they made it just about Mario & Wario since Bowser people are there (Along Donkey Kong Jr., didn't expect him there) But since Wanda (Who ONLY appears in that game) Is there and Wario is holding the iconic bucket, the change is pretty big

So it interests and kinda saddens me that before being forever forgotten, Nintendo wanted to make a somehow important (Kinda like Mario Land), hell it even got this cool Christmas poster
