"Following" shows stuff from the people I have followed or the communities I joined? Or the communities' stuff shown in "For You"? Or what??

Also how to unsubscribe from communities 'cause I think I has a problem of seeing stuff from the community that I have leaved already. And no, it wasn't from the people I follow, I'm pretty sure.

Also can I blacklist any tag just to not seeing stuff with it in my feed? There's so much work for the creators of this site))
