So I just had a file fiasco, but everything is better now, plus I finally got it to work for windows, just unzip the file and open it in unity 2018.4.19f and it is good to go, also, progress on the jumping.

I spent 3 hours on making a new script with the help of two lovely individuals the video links are on the bottom of the page, I thank you for your patience, I still am not sure why the player refuses to jump even though I did the script two different way with the same results. However I took into account what the first comment said and I am developing the sprites on the side they are not satisfactory enough for me to share the concept art just yet, but on saturday or sunday I will have the sprites concept art up at the very minimum, I am hoping to have the sprites to a state where I think they be put in the game, even if only as a place holder texture like the snow design on the main ground. This game is my playground for mechanics, if you do find a way to make the jump work, please let me know as I am going to put that on hold for now so I can finish developing the sound for the game.
